Requesting access to a plan
If you're a Delegate with Future Access to someone else's plan, you can request access if they have passed away or lost their mental capacity.
Here’s how to do it:
- Click the Request button on their Shared Plans page.
- Complete our short online Notification Form.
Before we can grant you access, we'll need to verify your request. This involves providing:
- For a death: A certified copy of the death certificate.
- For a loss of mental capacity: A medical professional's assessment of mental capacity.
Once we are happy with your request, we will notify you that the plan is available for you to view in line with the plan owner's wishes.
